The Office of Career Services (OCS) welcomes the opportunity to assist you in fulfilling your hiring needs.

The Office is customer focused and centralizes the functions of full-time employment, summer internships, cooperative education, post graduation employment, as well as part-time employment.

ALL on-campus recruiting activities are coordinated by OCS.

Recruiting activities shall be understood to mean any formal inquiry, request, or visit by an outside agency, business, institution, or organization, the primary purpose of which is to interest students/alumni in employment, independent contracting, service, or educational opportunity with that agency, business, institution, or organization.

Recruiting activities include, but are not limited to: on-campus interviews, career fairs, presentations, campus information tables, and opportunities advertised on university bulletin boards or via university online services.

Recruiting Qualifications

Employers and individuals representing employment opportunities must meet the following qualifications to use OCS services:

  • Must adhere to federal and North Carolina state EEO guidelines.
  • Must not solicit or sell their products or services during the course of recruiting.
  • Must fully disclose to OCS and students/alumni the structure of their compensation packages and business costs incurred up through the first year of employment. This includes salary, duration of salary, training allowance, incentive programs, stock options, commission structure, benefits, and any costs borne by the employee/applicant/independent contractor including testing, licenses, classes, travel expenses and equipment.
  • Must clearly indicate the employing organization name and contact information on any flyers and must not overstate possible compensation.

Employers may post opportunities on the OCS online posting site via AggieLink and may offer group presentations scheduled by OCS.

Final approval to use OCS facilities and services rests with the Executive Director of Career Services and may be revoked if OCS Policies or the NACE Principles are violated.

Permission to use NCA&T facilities does not imply University approval or endorsement of the policies, practices, or products/services of the recruiting organization/individual.
